It is definitely not a shadow of someone walking by. I have looked at this footage a bunch of times and it is not someones shadow. It has its own reflection to boot. I think this is a spirit, but is it the ghost of Michael? I don't know. Remember, that house was owned by another family before Jackson bought it.

I would concurr Brian. I have watched it several more times and see the same thing. But as you say no way to know that it is or isn't Michael. Still a very impressive piece of evidence.

I don't think it is Michael himself- it's far too tall. Or, I suppose as a spirit it doesn't have to remain the same height, but I still feel like that's highly unlikely, maybe just an old owner or something... Either way, it's way cool, and what a great quality shot since it's from CNN and all... have you all checked out the original video?? It's great to look at without the dramatic music lmao

You hit it with this observation, Brian. It has it's OWN reflection in the hard wood flooring. A shadow of someone walking by would be much more angular, the shadow would have to be coming from outside, through a window and would have obstacles in it's way, making it take on a flat angled appearance. Now, I have never been to the "ranch", but it appears that there are windows bordering that room because it's very bright. And, the location of that shadow does not lend itself to having been cast from that angle, it appears to actually be IN the hallway (at least the first little part of it). Is it MJ? Who knows. But, it's a compelling clip none the less.

VERY cool. Honestly, it looks like a shadow of someone in that room, to me, but ya never know. MJ was very much into the paranormal and supernatural. I do not doubt for one minute that if it's possible to haunt something, he definitely WOULD.

You're right, Brian. I looked again. Not thinking it is a shadow either. Hmmmm..idk, but it's very creepy and very cool. I must spread this around!

Im stumped, in all seriousness. When you freeze the frame on the video it's very "misty", not as "solid" as a shadow would be. Also, you can see the "feet" or rather a solid starting point for the figure. A shadow would seem to have more of a trailing type appearance rather than a solid start stop point. It's a good piece of video. It could go either way, but makes for interesting conversation either way.

ITA. He has every reason to hang around. Somebody needs to call Andy Andrews. I'd enjoy watching him go to work in there.

Because of the angle of the shot the hardwood floor is acting as a mirror at a very horizontal angle. You can see the reflection of the fireplace in the floor as well as the shadow which is elongated on down the hall because it is also reflecting at a very horizontal angle. This link hits it right on the head. Look how long the fireplace reflection is. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0laFusN40qc&feature=related

Although I would love it to be Michael, I agree with you Roestman on this one.

But If there could be a team of ghost investigators asked to go there and check it out.. now that would be very cool.
