Hey there Righost! Thank you for sharing your picture here, and in a size that we can really get in to and check out. I am absolutely sure that you are correct about there being no possibility of cigarette smoke. What I do believe though is you have captured in one form or another is a change in air temperature. Now, I am not going to argue this is breath, although it does look pretty textbook, but I believe it to be some form of warmer temperature in cold air. From the frost and reflections of water on the blades of grass, it looks to have been a pretty chilly evening, and moisture in the air as evidenced by the large spec of moisture (or "orb" as some may believe) close to the lens toward the upper left of the shot. According to the EXIF data, it was shot with a Canon S400 (nice little cam, used to have an Elph myself) at 10:22.13 pm on May 25 of this year and according to the Weather Service the temperature was approximately 44.8 degrees. This would mean that breath, or any other source of warmer air could easily case the anomaly you have here. The Canon Elph series is also notorious for having the flash very close to the lens which can case some interference with moisture in the air. Water molecules can be very tricky, lingering longer than you think that they would, and wonderfully visible at a certain angle, and dispersed or hidden at another which can cause it to appear as if it has appeared and disappeared over a closely shot series of shots. So there you have my opinion, I hope it was helpful to you.

Nice post. I would also concur that is some type of temperature anomaly. The vapor cloud is very close to the camera objective lens. I judge this by looking at the larger headstone to the right; it is behind the vapor cloud.
