The photo below was taken some time back by two young girls on a camping trip with their families. It was taken by a river as it started to snow with a normal point and shoot digital camera. The photo was shown on the news while still on the camera's viewing screen so I doubt it was photo shopped. It looks like mist raising from the water but what an image it took. Regardless of what it really is, it is interesting.

Yes interesting photo. Is this the image after it was downloaded from the camera? It contains a great deal of compression artifacts. I hope the news report stated that it is a two way street when it comes to digital cameras. You load to as well as load from. Sorry just skeptical....

You are seeing the photo is as it was seen on their camera's viewer. It looks the same here as it did on the camera. I wouldn't have even given it a second thought if I hadn't seen the girls on the news holding up the camera to the news crew with the image on it. I just posted it because it was an interesting formation whether real or not. Personally I feel it could be explained away but it's a fun photo just the same.

I agree interesting, kind of like cheesus. The bag of cheeto's contained one cheeto that looked like a kneeling hooded Jesus.
