Back in 2000, I had a webcam set up that took a picture every five seconds, and uploaded it to a site on the web, as I was a fan of JenniCam and The Truman Show. There were some experiences in the house before, but nothing like this. I had recently broke up with my girlfriend of 15 years, and all of her stuff was out of the house. I was feeling depressed, and invited a buddy over to hang out. He sat at my computer desk, and I was sitting on my bed (off camera to the left, where he is talking to me). Suddenly, he noticed a picture taken, and asked what it was. I managed to save the picture, and checked the before and after pictures taken, and none had what appeared on the camera. It seems to be a blue nightgown or dress standing next to my friend. It appears to be solid, as it seems to reflect light, and you can see the tripod behind it of my computer's speaker. When we were there talking, I can assure you that there was nothing there. He was just talking to me. My ex gf did not own anything that looked remotely like that, and nor was it in any other picture. I know it looks like a blue nightgown hanging there, maybe by a string or hangar, as there is no head or hands, and it looks flat, but I assure you: there was nothing there like that when the picture was taken. I understand it will be dismissed by a lot of you, and I do not blame you. For those who believe me, however, I feel that it is one of the best images caught on film. Here it is:

A few questions for you:
What was the date and time the image was captured?
What area of the country are you in (be vague - no sense in giving your address on a public forum)?
What type of webcam was used?
Did you notice any environmental changes such as a change in temperature or a sense of pressure change when you captured the image?
Hoping to be able to get you a bit of an informed idea of what MIGHT have happened.
