I was really eager for the show! There were times during the airing that I thought Steve was being a little too rough on the newbies. It was training for them to earn a spot on the TV show....and though some had some experience investigating, they still had to learn all the new equipment, all the jobs, and they had to do a lot of mind-reading concerning what Steve and Dave would do in their place. I'm glad they picked who they did at the end, but it's still quite a learning experience!!

Sorry if I make anybody mad but I thought on GHA Steve was a dick. Don't get me wrong love watching the guy on GH but far as a teacher not so much.

Let's face it..It's all about the ratings!! GH, GHI, GHA..I am a huge fan of Jason and Grant but it's just getting out of control..When is it going to stop? Seems to me like they've gotten too big or too busy for Ghost Hunters..There are too many branches of Ghost Hunters to keep up..I miss the good old day with the originals, Brian this includes you!

I thought Steve was a little too rough on some of the cast members also. I think it was more just Steve's personality though. He always seems to be a wise guy and it just came off wrong. All in all I really like the guy, but he may have just been over his head on the show. Tango......did he even say anything during half of the show??!! LOL
I know its tough to train new members, but we were all there one time or another. Making a show about it just seemed a little silly, especially since the winners weren't all that "good" to begin with.

Gotta say I'm much more pleased with the new format even though only 1 show in. Jason is now fulfilling the "dick" role (for which he seems entirely suited) to try and save Steve's reputation. Now I don't trust Steve or any of the GH crew from the way they treated Brian, but I must acknowledge when they do something right. The Cadets this year seem way more tuned in than last year's crop, and S and T's new roles as mentors will probably make a better show. I think Eric is probably the best of the newbies because he seems to be a real skeptic and debunker.

I understand that they need to make the show have some entertainment value but come on. Not one Taps member could meet the standards that this show holds their cadets to. If honest mistakes were a reason to kick someone off the team...they'd all be goners. It takes time to learn all the ins and outs of paranormal investigation and everyone is going to screw up at some point. TV shows don't have the time. They want a "winner" chosen in one season. They want ratings not a fair contest where everyone gets a fair shake. They also want someone chosen who people will want to watch on TV. You can bet your buns if a cadet gets alot of negative feedback from viewers they will be gone!
