I'm curious to know what are the oldest and most modern locations that people have investigated so far?
How do they compare? I'm not suggesting that either type of location would be preferable over the other, but I was wondering what others thoughts and experiences are in relation to this.
For my own experiences the oldest location we have investigated was built in 1390 and the most modern built in 1963.
We did get more activity from the building of 1390 but we also got some for the 1963 building. The audio was more prominent in the old building but the modern building seemed to have many orbs. Whether orbs are paranormal or not I do not know but our group believes they are which is why they are included in the results.
So what are your oldest/newest locations and how do they compare?

I would say that the oldest location I have investigated would have been an 1871 mansion and the most modern was a condo that was built in 1998. Both had some activity, but the more modern one seemed to yield better results. We got more evps from the more modern place, both residual and intelligent, where the old mansion just yielded a shadow or two, and a cabinet door opening by itself with no explaination, that we could not debunk.

The Oldest location was built in 1868 and the newest location was built in 1995 How would you compare the two locations for activity? stevedmvparanormal, I wonder what was on the location before the condo? Some people say disturbing a location releases spirits. I wonder if thats why there was more there?

The condos were built on old farmland. The farm house sat much further back than where this condo was. Where this home sits now was a cornfield.

I would say the oldest is from 1787 (the Charlemont Inn in Charlemont, MA) and the latest was from the 1950s. The majority of places I investigate are from the early 1800's through about 1890. My home growing up was only 2 years old when we started having stuff happen, but it's completely gone now.
Trying to put together some way to accurately measure magnetic field problems around granite basements right now, but with a new baby coming I have focusing more on getting sleep and resting up than thinking paranormally....hehe. Hoping by mid-June to try and get busy again.

I'm not quite certain which is the oldest location I've been to. However, the newest location was an 8 year old home that had only been occupied for grand total of about 10 months due to repeated foreclosures. What I found most odd about the home was that it had no heart beat. No vibration what so ever.
After a number of years, a building picks up a sort of pulse from energies left behind by various residents.
As a person who is sensitive to such things, I found the lack of vibe more jarring than a highly haunted place like Alcatraz.
