I miss Brian. It was just so odd how they never explained on the show where Brian went off to. He just stopped being on it. Left many fans scratching their heads. But am soooooooooo happy to get to reconnect with Brian on here!

I really liked how it was earlier on... as they added more and more people and started changing it around, I stopped really paying attention to the people and only watched to see where they would go (I always look for ones nearby here, so I might check them out in the future if possible). Some of the newer people kind of irritate me to be honest... haha... woops.

I like how the show evolved over the seasons. Their gear and techniques improved, and I love their individual personalities. But I miss Brian on the show! I'm seriously crossing my fingers that maybe he can get his own show so I can see him on t.v somewhere

The show these days plays like an advertisement for TAPS and TAPS Paramagazine gear. Do they not have any other clothes. It's like going to see a band play, and they all have on their own T-shirts. We get it...you sell clothes But in all seriousness, I love the show. I have opinions about certain cast members (we all do) but the show is good. I have to admit I miss the shows with Brian though.

GH or GHI is not the same without Brian, Donna, or Andy. I miss them all. They all showed an intense passion for investigating the paranormal while having some fun during the investigation too.

Things do tend to change, and to evolve, and people with families and full time jobs sometimes have to move on. I will continue to watch and enjoy both the original GH, and GHI, and to be as involved with the work that Brian is doing now, as well. I was thrilled when Brian turned up on GHI, but understood entirely that a new baby takes a LOT of time, if you want to be a hands-on daddy, not just a father. This new venture lets him continue his interest in and investigation of the Paranormal and STILL be there for his family in a way that involvement with a televised team couldn't.

SyFy should start a 3rd show - Ghost Hunters East. It should be Brian's show. There's no end of places on the east coast to investigate.

I'm with you, Sassybites. I can name about 20 locations within 45 minutes of my house, and I live in a TINY town near the coast of North Carolina. This place crawls with them, including the VERY famous Okracoke Ghost Ship.

Ghost Hunters is actually boring without Brian and Donna. There seems to be little enthusiasm at times.

I still enjoy watching seasons 1-3. The newer episodes aren't as interesting to me, and this is partly do to the lack of Brian. I don't know him, but based on the shows he seems to be the most talented of the bunch overall.
I'm with chriscook71 on the self-promotion issue. Certain websites are looking more like store fronts these days, rather than research centres. It's just an observation, not a bash.

mamanyt I also live in NC, and you are absolutely correct. We can't throw a rock without hitting a great haunted location.
What Ghosthunters lacks without Brian is an "edge". It's so sterile and institutional now that it almost makes it unwatchable. Jason is so stern and withdrawn and Grant is so vanilla. Now, keep in mind, I think they are great investigators, but that doesn't mean they are interesting to see on TV. They get the job done, and the last 10 minutes of the show where the evidence is revealed is interesting, but watching their investigations sometimes can be like watching paint dry.
You have to have the "outcast" on the edge type person who brings uncertainty and interest to the program to help keep people's attention, make it worth watching. All the evidence in the world wont matter if everyone is napping before you get to that segment of your show.

I must agree. Brian and Andy brought a lot to the show. The two girls...well, I think they're only on board to attract the male audience to benefit SyFy's ratings. Just my 2 cents.
