If the reason is to personal of course it's understandable if you don't answer but I know I and many fans have wondered since you stopped appearing on GH why you did? Miss seeing you on our tv's every week!

Count me in for missing Darth Wheezy ... I think my favorite quote was at St. Augustine Lighthouse (it's the Mona Lisa of paranormal experiences (or something like that))!!

I watch GH and GHI all the time and love it, but not having Brian and even Donna on the show..well how do I say this now. The excitement when Brian finds evidence makes me exited as well. He has the knack of enhancing ones excitement when evidence is found. Donna had a way of doing that too.

Hello, The reason why I left the show, and yes I LEFT THE SHOW. I was neither fired or asked to leave like people would have you believe. I left GH because I just started a family, I was not getting payed squat, and I was sick of the drama. I started up with GHI not knowing it was going to be International or anything like that. It was supposed to be a show all about anything paranormal in the USA except for ghosts. Voodoo, zombie, ufo's, etc.... I pitched THAT show to pilgrim to try to broaden my paranormal mind. Then they send us overseas for a "pilot" and spring on us the whole international thing. It was a bad year of constant travel, drama, and being away from the family. I left after the Ireland episode because my daughter didn't even know who I was when I came home. It was ridiculous. I do miss the hunting, the money (there wasn't that much, but enough), and a few other things, but if I had to do it all over again....I would but it would be a whole lot different.

No better reason than for your family Brian. Family is always first and I thank you so much for clearing the air. I had always thought you chose to leave and never thought otherwise. Just know your fans miss seeing ya on the tube! ;D

I totaly agree with all of the other posts. Family is very important. And i know all to well how traveling can get to you. Being away from family really isn't an option. Thanks Brian. Again you show class among all the drama.

Family trumps everything. Always. It has to, especially with a baby. And I remember a lot of the drama from the old TAPS board (I was moderating on the dratted thing under a different name, and what a THANKLESS task that was...no, it wasn't...YOU actually took the time to thank me at one point). I don't blame you for getting tired of the whole thing. WE miss you there, but we have you here now. So it's ALL good. I do wish that the show you pitched would have been a go. I'd have LOVED that show.

I think what got me hooked on GH in the first place and really caught my attention was your enthusiam, more than anything else initially. And then, of course, I was addicted!

Loved your enthusiasm for your work! Made the shows work as well--just not the same now although we continue to watch them.

Thanks for the honest response, Brian! I always figured the "drama" depicted in the show was largely exaggerated to make it more interesting to watch. Producers love that kind of thing, and it's up to editors to do their bidding, unfortunately. I love watching GH, but sometimes, it gets way too soap-opery. I want to see the paranormal stuff. I could give a squat about who is arguing with who.

Brian, if you were asked to be a guest investigator on GH, would you do it?
