Just wondered even though it's all in good fun does it get tiresome for you to hear peeps say DUDE RUN whenever they see you?

I wonder this, too! I kind of wince when I see it, since I'm sure that I personally would get sick of it pretty fast.

IMO the line "run dude" is what made me an instant fan of Brian- gotta say it showed good common sense- I know first hand when something paranormal is happening sometimes you want to run

~GRIN~ I first saw Brian at DragonCon in Atlanta, and he was selling the tee shirts. I bought one from him. I so admire a man who can laugh at himself, and we've ALL had those moments of pure panic. Those who haven't, just haven't YET.

Look im an investigator(well "was" and hope to get back in the game) and i have to say i don't scare much. But no one really knows how he or she would react to any given situation. Fear is just a normal human feeling in all of us and there have been more then a few time i have been surprized. I think of myself as a guys guy who dosn't flinch much. There was a time i was investigating and felt something grabing my arm to the point it started hurting a little. I remember starting to scream and getting goose bumps. I ran like a little boy after an ice cream truck. I have to give props to Brian who seems like you guys said, "able to make fun of himself". I find it awesome he is able to do that and embraces to the point of making it his motto sort of speeking. Dude run is now a part of Ghost Hunting as is the saying "They're Here". It's now part of pop culture thanks to Brian! I have to say i do own a Dude Run hat.... LOL

Shoot -- I would have been across the street and down the road! That thing in the black cape that jumped up and took off down that walkway gave me nightmares.

What I want to know more than anything is if they found solid evidence that what made Brian run was paranormal. Not that I think it wasn't. But I have watched that episode a million times and I am always left with more questions then answers. My husband thinks that the thing that came at the camera was a kid in a robe despite the attempts to debunk that theory.
And why is it that what the camera men film isn't used as evidence??

Actually, the film crew's stuff HAS been used at least once, to my memory. Specifically, the armory attack.
No, having watched that film over and over and over (ad infinitum, ad nauseum), it isn't someone in a robe. Don't know why everyone got so upset and doubtful about the sneakers. Good grief...HOW MANY ACCOUNTS say, "it was solid, but had no feet," or "it was just legs, the rest was a shadow (or mist, or whatever)." And as for the sneaker-looking shoes...THIS WAS A PRISON...MOST prisons issue inexpensive sneaker-type softsoled shoes to inmates. I found this to be a plus, actually. Exaclty what one would expect a prisoner ghost to be wearing.

This is an interesting thread. Take a step back in time and remember the episode and the heat Brian took for it. Then skip a few episodes and remember Jason changing policy to accomodate Steve and the new rule became, "When in doubt; Get out!" Among other changes to come later. I would also say that is now Brian's catch phrase and he should wear "Dude Run" proudly.
I may not be a lot of things but one good gift I possess is being a good judge of character. Now I don't know Brian personally but I am willing to bet there is much more to him than meets the TV eye.
I am not a diehard fan of the TV shows but I do watch and based on that I would back Brian against any of the others in character.
