Hi everyone...my name is Melissa and I live in Western Pennsylvania. I am 35 (I just typed in 34 and realized I had a birthday a few months ago, lol...wishful thinking) married and have 4 kids ages 6 to 14. Always been interested in paranormal things and have been having experiences since I was about 17. Nothing horribly scary, just footsteps, lights on, strange smells, really stupid dreams that come true (why can't I dream lotto numbers?) and things like that.
We moved into a new house last year and since moving in, all of us have had strange experiences (voices, footsteps, apparitions)...mostly the kids. Guess they are just more sensitive to it. I like to think I have prepared them well and they are more curious than anything. We are not scared living here though, so it's ok.
I would love to join a group in the future. I have been very busy the past year with my kids (my son was sick and had a liver transplant-he's doing fine now) and just am not quite ready for it yet.
Looking forward to knowing you

Thank you! Nikki, you are right....no ghost could be scarier than having a sick child...maybe that is why I am not scared here! He's doing great....he is 12 and is bigger than me already. That new liver is doing a great job. I was keeping a notebook of all the weird things that happen here, but have not updated it lately. There are just so many little things happening. The other night, I heard someone say something right in my ear, but it was so low and muffled, I don't know what they said. Def. need to get a voice recorder!

Welcome Melissa! You live in one of my favorite States. I absolutely love PA. I was able to live there for two years between 2003 and 2005 and loved it so much. I've lived in a few different states, and of all the states I lived in PA was my favorite. I just absolutely love Autumn there. I was living in Armstrong County, just above Pittsburgh near Kittanning. What a lovely area! Hope to read some of your ghost stories! xo Love, Rhonda
