This is something we will be using. It takes a panoramic photo which is transformed into a 360 degree virtual tour with the proper software. For us it eliminates the taking of hundreds of photos to cover an area.

That is a great piece of equipment, but wouldn't you want to take hundreds of pics, because not only are you trying to cover an area, you are trying to get paranormal activity. And you know as well as I do, activity only happens when it wants to happen.

Yes, you are correct. I should have explained myself first. My mistake. Although some in my group enjoy Ghost Hunting, I am not a Ghost Hunter. I only investigate documented cases. Not as much fun as Ghost Hunting but I find it interesting. So, in investigating documented cases, I already know times, dates and circumstances surrounding the sightings. It makes for a more thorough investigation also. Oh, I take much more than one photo of an area but there is no reason for me to take hundreds of photos since I already know where to look. Just those in the places and around the times the incidents took place. This lens allows me to take the whole room or area in one shot but I can take many shots if need be. Also, I find that since most (almost 95%) of sightings are experienced during the day or at night with the lights on. It doesn’t make much sense for me to try and capture something at 2am if all the sightings are during the daylight hours. Like a lot of public places that have tours, etc. I guess I need to find a place on here where I can place a bio about myself and group so we aren’t misunderstood in the future. I have been doing this for more than 30 years and am not with the main stream in all my beliefs or methods and am sometimes misunderstood. Just an old guy, set in my ways I guess. LOL Oh, glad to see you personally commenting on peoples posts. Nice to meet you.

I see what you mean now. I am not a Ghost Hunter either. Not anymore. I am a Paranormal Investigator as is all my Paranormals. That is a great way to document. As you are right that you see 90-95 percent of all sightings are with lights on or are during the day, it makes more sense to do it like that.

The lens is a good idea. You could easily adapt it for IR if needed. It seems to be only dependent to the camera it is attached to. IR camera = IR 360 panorama shot (With external IR illuminators lighting the area). Also just set your camera to take multiple shots at a timed interval and you’re done. I used something similar by converting an old all sky astronomy camera to IR.
