It's an entertaining show. No drama amongst the investigators is refreshing. I like there camera techniques.

I think its an alright show, but these guys go a little too far with the provoking if you ask me. Sometimes you need to understand your location and situation before you get nasty with an entity. Plus, why do they make a big deal about getting locked in?? Aren't we as paranormal investigators suppose to stay and investigate a location. I can say that I have never left a case and needed to be locked in in order not to leave.

Well they are really good friends of mine so naturally I gotta love em right?  I love the provoking, I do it whenever possible. I do not do it in home investigations nor do I disrespect innocents. I only provoke in places where ghosts are known to be mean to people. The thought behind it is to get as much proof as you can on camera even if that means provoking. What good is getting scratched if its not filmed while it is happening right? I'll be investigating with them in June at Eastern State Penn and I am really excited. ;D |

I watch, and like the show.... and Jen I live in Pa and have been to Eastern State many times, there is definitely activity there, had a few personal experiences myself.

Oh wow Mary. That is amazing! I cant wait to see. The only other huge place I have been to is The Stanley with Nightwatchers. That place is super cool and the ghosts are very mellow and laid back. Of course once you see the place you'd understand why they are happy to stay there lol.
It will also be my first time in PA. I'm super excited.

I hope one of these days the provoking will bring them a little more reaction, only because I don't like the actual daring of a ghost or spirit to "hit me" or "push" me down a set of stairs  . But, they are filmmakers first and ghost hunters second, so they have to find a way to get spirits to physically become known for the camera. (I've never understood many of their EVPs, but when the siren was heard on two floors while a scream was only heard on one floor was pretty good!  ) |
