. Southern Paranormal Investigations (SPI), will be conducting a LIVE and INTERACTIVE investigation of the historic J.D. Rogers building located on The Strand in Galveston (the building that houses the Bistro Le Croy). SPI hopes to not only delve into the question of whether the building is host to spirits, such as civil war soldiers and 1900 storm victims, but also help to bring an interest and focus back to the Strand District and Galveston in general. Interest in the paranormal is at an all time high, and with the many claims of paranormal activity on the island, and in the Roger's building, SPI believes this to be an excellent opportunity to revive interest and patronage to this area that is struggling to get back on it's feet post IKE. Our investigation is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 9pm CST and will be broadcast at www.ghostshow.us. The public is invited to have dinner at the Bistro Le Croy for a cover charge of $10 (food and drink additional) which can be paid in advance. You may arrive as early as 8pm. The Bistro will serve food until 11pm and will stay open as long as the investigation continues. People can bring their laptops and also watch it on a big screen tv. To sign up for the event or receive additional information, please contact us at ContactSPI@spi-texas.org or visit our website for updates, www.spi-texas.org.
