Yes, that is part of the original Bedford County jail, which is attached to newer buildings. I loooove old jails, old prisons, state hospitals, and the like. It is like looking directly at an actual piece of the past.

Welcome to the board. We would love to investigate the 5,6 and 7 block at the Sounthern Michigan Correctional Facility at Jackson Michigan. The State closed it over 2 years ago. They are some of the oldest cell blocks in Michigan. The Department of Corrections is not interested in allowing anyone into this area but it would be an investigation of our dreams.

I'd love to see more pics! Yes it was a burping ghost. Our founder called out for a person called 'George' to do something and on a digital recorder I had left by one of the cells you can hear either 2 sniffs or shuffles followed by a very loud burp.

No one was in the area we were all about 100m away down the other end of the building. There are 2 more recordings with burpin on. Im not allowed to post them atm because the investigator's report hasnt been finished. But I'll post as soon as possible to get other people's thoughts.

It is funny to listen to though!
