Would need to have some idea what type of recorder was used. it sounds a lot like aliasing - random noises misinterpreted during the conversion process in the recorder. I don;t really hear speech patterns per say, just noises. A little more explanation of the equipment used would be helpful.

Olympus VN-4100pc was used. We believe there is a voice pattern that we were unable to reproduce during debunking. the trainee was walking the recorder to a headstone there was not conversation at the time the voice was picked up. Between 3-5 seconds into this recording we anylize our recordings using sony sound forge audio studio. Take another listen and we will discuss what we believe was said

We understand that sometimes nobody will agree with what an EVP actually says. We don't try to convince anyone of what EVPs are saying. We just let the client listen to them as much as they like and then inform them as to what we think they say. Hopefully the client will recognize a phrase or the voice and it helps them understand what they are experiencing or gives them piece of mind. We just add them to our ever growing collection of "Cool stuff" that we can't debunk! This EVP was added to the collection in october 2009 during a tryout of prospective trainees at a very old cemetary in Northern Michigan One prospective trainee was walking through the leaves to a gravestone to place a Olympus VN-4100pc Digital Recorder when this voice was captured. We were isolated and there was no conversation. I was with this trainee and can verify that was no coversation. He was only about five feet away from me when he placed that recorder. If you listen to this EVP on audacity (available for free online) or any audio editing software you will be able to see that there is a voice pattern present. BPI hopes that you all enjoy our collection of "Cool stuff" and we also accept that a healthy skeptisizm is human nature and welcome skeptics to debunk our evidence. We regularly invite skeptics to attend our investigations BPI is of the opinion that this EVP is speaking Please listen again and tell us what you think it says and we will post what we think it says later..... This post will be continued after further review............. ;D .

Im not disputing that there is something there - I just cant understand it because it is very growly-sounding to me. Im not very techie so when you talk about making out voice patterns, I dont know how to do that. I use wavepad and sony's system so I'll have another listen but if you can tell me how to recognise a voice pattern then that would be helpful
