I know TAPS isn't into psychics, however I do have a paranormal story regarding one who is very famous (John Edward) and another who is local for me -- an older man named Brian Edward Hurst.
Both are respected members of their professional community -- John Edward known for his television shows and Brian Edward Hurst for being an old timer who claims to have mentored James Van Praagh, (another well known television psychic and producer of Ghost Whisperer.)
I must say I was totally shocked when John Edward got my first name, however I stubbornly refused to totally "believe" based on that. I mean, I did go to the event alone so I wouldn't talk to anyone (and thus possibly give up personal information) BUT I HAD spoken to the people next to me and MAYBE I had said my name. So the name thing I was not sure about.
However when John Edward said "Mary the artist" the EXACT phrase Brian Edward Hurst had said to me YEARS BEFORE, I was finally convinced. How could two people, thousands of miles (and 3 or 4 years) apart, come up with that same exact phrase? And my grandmother Mary wasn't simply a casual artist, she had gone back to college in her 50's, earned her masters degree in art and traveled extensively, showing and selling her work.
A name is a name, but a 3 word phrase? What are the odds? Especially when used during a reading where my grandmother's step son was the initial entity contacted?
The simplest explanation is, John Edwards and Brian Edward Hurst are psychic mediums. It is far less realistic to believe they accidentally came up with the EXACT same three word phrase, during relatively short readings, with a total stranger (me.)
