Have you told the spirit to stop saying your name, and say something else lol I agree with CELTIC - it's all theory, and that's the fun part of investigating.... it's looking into the unknown. Agreed

we experimented with the "radio shack Ghost box" on one investigation. We had to disregard it as a tool for all the reasons that have already been posted IE: unable to distinguish voice phenomenon from radio broadcast. I've always wondered about the viability of the theory and we are currently brainstorming ways to eliminate any possibly false evidence and build a simular device. If and when we develope such a device we will continue this experiment. Our goal is to develope a device that can be used scientifically without being disregarded automatically because of debunkable results (If its possible). Just remember......Even if you don't think something is working or not working..........It's all research.... ;D

I will never dismiss the possibility of finding some frequency EVPS come through on and mapping it for further research. I do have issues when the voices are Carson Daily and Rush Limbaugh ...which to me is the best part about conducting research. REALLY trying to understand what is going on. Question panton.

A Franks box is a sweeping radio scan box that was created by Frank Sumption. His original devices are excellent for spirit communication. ... Attempts to recreate Frank's original box designs haven't worked (though I might be wrong). also at this time the only way to get an original Frank's box is to be gifted with one by Frank himself. currently none are available for purchase from Frank himself. While an original Frank's box maybe out of reach a new craze, the ghost box, can be created. Wait, our group has a Frank's Box - are you saying thats not what it is? If its not, why is it called a Frank's Box? Ive never heard anyone refer to it as anything else

I think it's a fun concept, but I am not sold on the technology.

I did one time and didn't hear anything that everyone else was hearing. Really, it just sounded like a broken radio. To try and calculate the odds of (if there are any) intelligent entities out there knowing what every radio station is about to play within range of the box, at exactly the right instant it is going to come over the receiver, and use it to answer a random question asked just seconds before is just ludicrous to me.
Note I said to me...if anyone else likes these things and wants to use them in their studies, by all means. But considering all those things I would probably have a better chance of hitting the lottery three times after getting hit by lightning than all those things putting themselves into play.
