the new ghosthunters

I'm an investigator and a fan of Ghost Hunters.. They HAVE changed but I think also that it was more of a Syfy/promoter decision only because they've cut down time shown of their investigations and the actual evaluation...and Jason and Grant only do part of the investigating, hardly any evaluating... The programs are shortened to a half hour TV time for most each site they visit, and I'm thinking they're forced to make more "drama" for the cameras. We KNOW investigating is long and sometimes unproductive, but the TV guys want substance. so they visit big, known haunted places. I love the show; I love the guys and all they've taught me; I just would love to see them relax and just do their best. Remember, Jason used to never say a place was "haunted"....he debunked everything he could. Now it seems he has to use the word.

I like the show but like eveybody else miss Brian on there. Just sucks when they start changing cast members around.

I totally agree with this. I miss the homes. The places they do now are all just buildings without families. I don't think they are out to "help" people anymore. I don't think Williams has ever been to a house. I could be wrong though.
I miss Brian, Donna, Andy, Kristen, Dustin and a few others. I like Steve and Tango too.

What I didn't like about the old Ghost Hunters was how Jason picked on Brian. It was very uncomfortable to watch and he clearly favored Steve. I loved Brian's passion and enthusiasm and I hope he gets his own show soon!

Who and how many are in the team now? They are still showing repeats (re-runs) here in the UK. I keep seeing trailers saying new episodes are 'coming soon' but they dont give a date - so frustrating

There seems to be 7 main investigators that are usually on the show. Jason, Grant, Steve, Tango, Britt, Kris, and Amy. You see Joe, Dustin, and Krisin Gartland on every once in a while too. Joe and Dustin are mainly on GHI though.

Im sure the group is bigger than that, but those are the regulars right now.

We are in the middle of a Most Haunted Live week here in the UK and I have to say how dissappointed I am. Things are just getting worse and worse. I have found that the general consensus between discussion boards and my personal friends is that GH (& GHI) are now the preferred programmes to watch for televised paranormal investigations.

So whilst some of you may dislike some aspects of GH, the US programmes are way better than MH which has really lost the plot. MH needs to get its mojo back.

Roll on new series of GH.

You're absolutely right about the way Brian was mistreated. There's a video out on the web that showed an encounter with some fans in Atlanta, I think, where Jay and Grant disgustingly dissed Brian and talked about him like he wasn't even there. Totally rude.
